well actually i don't believe autotune killed hip hop.hip hop is made up of more elements than just rap alone.b-boying?still going strong.....djing?still going .graffitti writing or bombing still still alive & well..did i mention human beatboxing???hmmmm....so autotune killed hip hop?definitely not....autotune killing the careers of these" no talent ,watered down,commercialized, ready for radio,cookie cutter rappers??yes!! autotune is killin em off and exposing them for the frauds they are.thus giving room for some real shit to breath..if you really think about it,autotune is a blessing in disguise...me personally i don't have a problem with cats using autotune.i look at it like alcohol.it's ok when used in moderation.....if i was underwater i'd be Aquafresh -

it takes the emotion out of a rapper. they all sound the same now, ye's new album is trash all autotune, wayne's new mixtape, all autotune, (not like i expected either to be good). even royce had some on the bar exam 2. it's just a bad mainstream trend, that reflects poorly on hip hop culture, grouping hundreds of shitty mainstream rappers into one big shitty group. most sounds the same now -

royce and 50 killed their autotune songs, wayne's hook on "my life" was awesome, and complacency from fans, bad business, and overexposure to the market most likely to download/bootleg music is killing the hip hop that we knew in the 90s and early numilleniumlux brand sample sales -
