    Well, I can't really tell if there's a format to this so I'm just gonna freestyle. My name's DJ Apex and I just moved back to Seattle from Bellingham. 23 years old, been spinning for about 3 years, only vinyl until about a month ago (got serato). I spin hip-hop of course, but I'll also throw in some funk, breaks, house, classic rock or just some random curveball if it fits.     I never aspired to have a rap career so I have not let myself down at this point. I respect real people that put in work work. Much respect to 206proof for this forum, this is a great community, thanks for allowing me to be part of it.

    Idoesthis: I been hobbyish playing music for about 15 years starting in a family band, oldies stuff. got into midi and beats through a high school program for two years, was hella dope experience, still got alot of those on cassettes somewhere. First got into sampling early in 2001 with friends from PCC using Acid, Soundforge and Cool Edit Pro.
    Did a couple years at PCC Studio Recording program and got to work with a 1" tape machine, that was good times. Did a couple terms at the NWFC working with super 8 mostly.

    Bought an MPC 3000 a couple years ago and now that's what I like to mess with. I've got a 4 track TEAC A-3340. Most of the money I have made in my life I have put into records and gear.
